Система рангов – особенная система, разработанная и используемая Управлением по Борьбе с Гулями для классификации гулей по степени их индивидуальных способностей и представляемой угрозы.

Гулям присваиваются ранги в соответствии с различными факторами, которые включают в себя их базовые способности, уровень активности и степень агрессивности по отношению к следователям. Данная схема позволяет подобрать наиболее эффективную тактику против гуля того или иного ранга. Существует 6 рангов, от C (низший и слабый) до SSS (высший и самый опасный).
Критерии определения ранга
Ранг присваивается гулю посредством оценки его индивидуальных способностей. Ниже перечислены критерии, которые позволяют провести наиболее точную оценку возможностей гуля: [1]
Помимо индивидуальных способностей гуля также оценивается и нанесенный им ущерб. Ранг учитывает степень его хищности и количество совершенных гулем убийств. В Центре Заключения Гулей в соответствии с рангом гулей определяется уровень, на котором он будет содержаться: так, для гулей рангов C – A+ (см. ниже) предназначен первый, для S – второй, для SS – третий, для SSS – четвертый и самый глубокий.
Так же в рангах гулей иногда встречаются пометки «+» и «
«, это означает, что все способности гуля до сих пор не известны. Например, ранг Змея был S
, но после боя был подтверждён до S.

The rating system has been created by the CCG. Ghouls are rated based upon various factors, including their basic strengths, activity levels, influence and hostility towards investigators.
In addition to the ghoul’s individual ability, the actual damage caused by the ghoul is also evaluated. The rating is set in consideration of the predation and killing incidents committed by the ghoul.
For some ghouls, their influence over other ghouls is also taken into account when ratings are given.
The rating extend from SSSSS (the most powerful ghoul) to C (the weakest ones). The once who have a ‘

Ayato Kirishima
Ayato was an arrogant, brash teenager, with a similar hot-blooded attitude resembling his sister’s, while he normally displayed either a scowl or menacing smirk on his face. Other than his physicalities, he shared many similarities with Touka, such as his tendency to use language that is often uncouth or inappropriate.

Bin brothers
Among Aogiri’s members, they had a relatively moderate personality. During a fight, while one was about to be defeated, they used mockery as a means to trick their opponent. They had sworn their allegiance to the One-Eyed King and idolized Aogiri’s ideology.

Akashi Kobayashi
As a way to blend in with the human society, Kobayashi often portrays himself to be quite a cheerful, friendly man. While his occupation is associated with transport, his main hobby is making confections; something he finds comfortable, but is flustered about admitting. As a ghoul, Kobayashi seems proud of the extraordinary sense of smell his nose possesses.
Rating
Ratings (レート, rēto) are a system used by the Commission of Counter Ghoul to classify ghouls with respect to their perceived individual ability and threat level.

Definition
Ghouls are rated based upon various factors, including their basic strengths, activity levels, influence and hostility towards investigators. In modern-day, there are six rating levels, from SSS (the most powerful) to C (the weakest). In some cases, a tilde (
) is added to the base rating. This indicates that the ghoul is estimated to be at least that strong, but the rating may change once more is known about the subject.
Originally, ghouls were designated degrees, the CCG converted from this system to using the degrees’ rating equivalents — e.g. a «special third degree» (特三度, Toku san do) threat became an «SSS» rated ghoul. [1]
Rating Assessment Criteria
The rating of a ghoul is set through evaluation of the ghoul’s individual ability. The following criteria are employed to determine the rating according to their individual ability: [2]
SSS rated Criteria is unclear. SS rated Multiple Special Class Investigators are needed. S+ rated Equivalent to the ability of an average Special Class Investigator. (approx.) S- rated Equivalent to the ability of an average Associate Special Class Investigator. (approx.) A rated Comparable to a First Class Investigator. These ghouls are usually set as a target and some ghouls might develop a second tail/tentacle. B rated Comparable to a Rank 1 to Rank 3 Investigator. These ghouls should have their Kagune mastered and are usually a small threat to the CCG. C rated Ghouls of smaller ability, these ghouls usually can’t fight any ghoul investigators and only attack unarmed humans.

SSS Ranks
Deviation Actions
I thought I would make a journal about this so that way you guys get a better understanding of how SSS works.
— The highest ranking members are the Founders. They are the supernatural creatures who came together and created the SSS. They consist of history’s most infamous monsters like Griffin (The Invisible Man), Vlad (Dracula), Karloff (Frankenstein’s Monster), ect. Their goal is to try and fix the mistakes they’ve made in the past and to help create a world where supernaturals can live with humans without having to live in fear of being killed. They each run their own branches of the SSS and while they have different ways of approaching certain situations, the rules of the SSS remain the same between all the branches and Founders. This rank is not open for character creation. Hades may also fall under this category since he helps with funding the SSS so they can pay their agents.
— The next rank is the Second in Commands. This rank is given to the top agent that is willing to accept the responsibility. Abdul is an example of someone in this rank. They are in charge of agents in small sections of the Founder’s branches and are meant to keep things running smoothly so the Founder’s can focus on bigger more important issues with the society. The Second In Command usually receives missions from the founders and in turn they distribute it amongst the agents they feel are most qualified to complete said mission.
— The next rank is the Field Agents. They are the supernaturals who receive missions and complete them. They are judged and paid based on how hard they work and how quickly and efficiently they can complete the missions given out to them.
— Under Protection isn’t really a rank but a status given to supernaturals that have been harmed by monster hunters or by humans. They are usually kept at the closest SSS HQ in order to protect them and ensure their safety. These supernaturals are allowed to roam the facilities under an agent’s supervision and are given food, medical treatment, and a temporary room until it’s safe for them.
Reputation
Reputation is a system found within Ro-Ghoul that allows players to increase their rankings within the two factions of Ro-Ghoul: The CCG and Ghouls. Reputation is earned by speaking with the respective faction leader of each faction and accepting a «Task». Tasks require users to kill a specific amount of Aogiri NPCs found around the map while avoiding killing humans (this includes the Athlete NPC). Killing too many humans will botch the reputation yield for that task and give only a small portion of the total amount. The number of Aogiri Members required vary between 10 and 20 while the limit on Humans killed varies between 3 and 8.
After completing a task, players can turn them back into their respective faction leaders to gain Reputation (Reputation gained is doubled if the 2x Reputation gamepass is bought). Reputation can be used to increase rankings (see below) and be used to cash out Yen. When cashing out, players can receive 1 Yen per every Reputation point they have. Reputation does not reset when cashing out, and players can do it every two hours.

Ratings for ghouls, or ranks for CCGs, are systems to identify a player’s reputation. The ratings/rankings are listed below with the required amount of points needed to earn them.
Note: Ratings/Ranks do not play a role in the gameplay at all; they only serve as bragging rights.
