I currently, have major probleme with TQ and TQ IT.
I can’t start TQIT it do not detect TQ. when i attempt to start it says «Please install TQ to Continue» but i already have. +
so i tried Verify integrity of game cache. and TQIT had all files succefully validated but TQ came out with 1 file failed to validate and vill be reacquired.
and when i tried to play TQ it says Invalid CD Key WTF.
Please google more often.
If you need to delete your TQ files for a clean install, by the way, do NOT delete any files inside My Documents/My Games. If you lose your saves and custom games, no one is to blame but you.
Here’s what worked for me on a Windows 10 64-bit computer. Your mileage may differ.
When I would start Immortal Throne, Steam would show me a license key, but IT would never prompt for it. So I copied the Steam-provided key and did the following:
1. Start regedit. (If you don’t really know what you’re doing, it’s not a bad idea to create a backup of the registry before you change anything! )
2. Type ctrl+f and type in IRON LORE. (Or skip all the searching and go directly to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Iron Lore\Titan Quest Immortal Throne, then pick up at step 7.)
3. Click the little > next to IRON LORE.
4. Click Titan Quest (NOT Immortal Throne).
5. On the right panel, look for CD Key. (If it’s not there, press F3 and continue searching with steps 3 and 4 until you find it. For me, it was the 5th occurrence.)
6. NOW click on Titan Quest Immortal Throne in the left panel.
7. Look for «CD Key» in the right panel. For me, it was not there.
8. Click Edit in the menu, then select New > String Value. Change the name in the right panel to be «CD Key» (without the quotes).
9. Now in the right panel, right click the new CD Key you just created and select «Modify». Enter the Steam-provided key and press Enter.
10. Close the registry editor and enjoy Immortal Throne.

С уть лицензионных ключей заключается в том, что при создании вами нового сервера в Titan Quest/Titan Quest: Immortal Throne к вам может подключиться любой человек. Дело в том, что многие не могут поиграть вместе и им приходится играть на чужих серверах, не всегда с адекватными хозяевами. Чтобы посмотреть или же поменять свой ключ, необходимо выполнить следующее:
Для Windows XP/Windows 7
1. «ПУСК» там ищем «Выполнить. «
2. В окне «Запуск программы» вводим regedit и запускаем его от имени администратора
3. Появился «Редактор реестра»
4. Путь к папке Iron Lore(Windows XP): HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE —> SOFTWARE —> Iron Lore
будет иной путь хранения папки: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE —> SOFTWARE —> Wow6432Node —> Iron Lore
5. Там есть две папки: Titan Quest u Titan Quest Immortal Throne
6. Нажимаем на одну из этих папок и в правом углу появляются несколько файлов реестра
7. Двойной щелчок по файлу «CD Key»
8. Перед вами ваш ключ от ТКТКИТ
Для Windows Vista
1. Запускаем «Диспетчер Задач»
2. Нажимаем Файл-Новая задача(Выполнить)
3. Пишем там regedit.exe;
4. У вас открывается «Редактор реестра» ; Далее аналогично с 4 пункта для Windows XP/7
CD-Key’s для TitanQuest
Доброе время суток, уважаемые пикабушники. Хочу попросить вас о помощи с запуском игры Titan Quest. Проблема в том, что игра просто никак не реагирует на запуск. Игра не пиратская, устанавливал с диска. Я уже играл в неё на этом компе, и винду после этого не переустанавливал. Стоит вин7, пробовал запустить в режиме совместимости винХР, но безрезультатно.

что то мне подсказывает, если установишь пиратскую, то она заработает

Лицензия в стиме стоит меньше шаурмы в питере. А по цене двух шаурм, ты получишь оригинальную игру + immortal throne
Один раз я в стиме купил цивилизацию 3 и потратил очень много времени, чтобы установить русификатор. В итоге поставить я его не смог, и скачал пиратку. В стиме титан квест тоже без русского языка. И что-то мне как то не очень хочется тратить деньги, чтобы потом еще тратить время на установку русификатора, который еще не факт что установится. Я уж лучше тогда с торрента скачаю русскую версию.

You need to play and finish the entire story on Titans quest Anniversery
which already supposedly includes the expansion. Which is pretty stupid cause you didn’t have to clear the original TQ which was a choice but you needed TQ installed in order too play.

you just have to clear the story in order to unlock and proceed too play Immortal Throne.
Steam sucks bady at explaining these things thus why i hate steam so much and i don’t play the majority of my games on this horrid thing.

Чтобы посмотреть\поменять свой ключик нужно выполнить несложную операцию:
1. «ПУСК» там ищем «Выполнить. »
2. В окне «Запуск программы» вводим regedit

4. По папкам идем: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >>> SOFTWARE >>> Iron Lore
5. Там есть две папки: Titan Quest u Titan Quest Immortal Throne

NONE of the above worked for me. What I did, is I went to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/wow6432node/iron lore/titan quest immortal throne
right click and new string, call it CD Key, put your cd key number in this. Once I have put this in the game worked.
I dont know if you ahve to do the hkey classes root, hkey current user and this, but it only worked once I did the local machine addition.
PS. For the record, I think this is IDIOTIC and disgusting that CUSTOMERS have to do something the game PUBLISHER should have taken care of.
I can’t blame the game creators cause all the competent people moved to Grim Dawn, while the useless people made a money grab by releasing the anniversary edition that that messes up voltage on my PC (the only game to have ever done it). yes as you can tell I don’t like them very much 🙂

I think you have a few of your facts wrong.
Just for the record; THQ made TQ & TQ:IT and then went belly up. Some of the old THQ Dev’s formed a new company and made Grim Dawn.
Elsewhere and much later; Nordic bought up the TQ rights, renamed themselves THQ Nordic and rereleased TQ as the Anniversary Edition and since then released the Ragnarok DLC. There was no Dev cross over from THQ to Nordic (as you pointed out), so Nordic hired a 3rd party company to write up a new DLC; Ragnarok.
And since we’re here on the TQ:IT forum any thing that’s not working would have to point back to the original THQ team as Nordic didn’t do a thing to this version, it’s the same one for sale that THQ originally put out.
I also find it interesting that of ALL the AE owners / players, you’re the only one having voltage problems with the AE version.
And for the record I bought both TQ and TQ:IT here on Steam and never had any problem downloading or launching them.
