После слеша(/) вводим желаемое название вашего сервера
Сохраняем, запускаем ярлык, ждём окончания обновления строк в открывшейся консоли.
После данной процедуры консоль можно закрыть

Настройка сервера(файла commands.dat):
Заходим в папку Servers, далее в папку с названием вашего сервера и с помощью текстового редактора открываем файл Commands.dat
Вписываем эти данные:

Открываем LogMeIn Hamachi, регистрируемся, создаём сеть. Название и пароль сообщаем другу/друзьям. Они в свою очередь подключаются к вашей сети.
Запускаем ярлык, который мы создали в начале, копируем Ipv4 из хамачи, и порт из файла commands.dat. Это айпи и порт нашего сервера соответственно.

.И если у вас все друзья сделали как и здесь то им нужно просто ввести Ip и Port.

Если не использовать это есть шанс что сервер не будет сохранен.

Убедитесь что сервер сохранён,
А потом выключайте его!

Чтобы выдать админку навсегда вы можете написать в command’s date «Owner SteamId»
Или выдать админку через консоль admin «SteamId»
Также вы можете выдать админку через
» Adminlist «

Hello all. This is my first guide here, as such I’ll try to keep it as clear, short, and informative as possible, not necessarily and easy task, but someone has to do it.

The purpose of this guide is, quite simply, to compile and present as much information as possible about creating a dedicated server for Unturned. Unfortunately, for as much information that is out there, there is no central location for it all. Sure anyone can go to the wiki, but can anyone navigate it with any general sense of knowing what they’re looking for? Not I, and I’ve been in the modding/hosting scene for a while for games such as minecraft, terarria, civilizations, G-mod and many others, and each one has an extensive, almost obsessive amount of documentation to help any new players along without actually dealing with the often less than courteous communities.

That said, while I was attempting to host a server for Unturned, it took me hours to not only gather enough information, but put it together in any comprehensive meaning to actually do me any good, and people have more time failing to connect to servers than actually staying on, so hopefully this guide will not only alleviate some frustrations, but encourage a few of the more experienced members of the community to, if not outright make their own, then to provide a useful bit of information to be incorporated into this, or another guide.

Lets get started, shall we?

With the update to 3.X the [host] button has been removed, forcing many people to learn how to host a dedicated server.

The first thing we will do is open steam at our library where we will locate Unturned and

Okay, the overly redundant list is done with, now we get to play with this new shortcut, wherever you put it. I won’t assume you know what you’re doing, so this next bit will be as tedious, but hopefully as easy to follow

Okay, lets hop back over to Unturned folder if we didn’t stay there, we should see a new folder in there simply «Servers». Lets open that up, inside we should see another folder with the name of whatever you named your server, this is good, we’re making progress. Open that folder up, then open the folder named » Server «. We should be seeing for files listed as below:

Open Commands.dat and ignore the other ones possibly forever, I’ve yet to have a use for them, so I’m thinking they aren’t important (unless you go public, then you’re in a whole mess of security)

The file should be blank, yes? Well, here’s the fun part, we get to fill it out and we only need two or three (very) short lines.

The first line: map PEI
The second line: port 27015
The third line: mode easy

If you ever have a custom map, which I hope to be writing a guide about that once I’m a bit more clear on how that works, you simply replace PEI with the name of the custom map (E. G. SmileyLand)

Don’t touch the second line unless you decide to use a none default port.

The third line is your difficulty, there are: easy, medium, hard, and gold
Pick one, though if you haven’t bought gold, don’t use gold mode, it won’t work (think locking yourself out of your car with the keys still inside and the car running until it’s out of gas)

This part is the killing. The broken break pedal, the shark just before your feet, that hairy, silent man behind you as you read this.

Plain and simple, this part is difficult, not because of what you need to do (though that can be in it’s own way difficult), but because of the purely simple lack of any solid documentation in this area, anyone reading this that disagress with me, send me links, send me ways to do it, I’ve looked all over google and the various guides and I haven’t found anything. That said, lets get to the meat of it.

The ports: 27015, 27016, and 27017.

I don’t know if they need to be UDP or TCP, no where have I found mention of which, or both, though everyone who answers «what ports» usually lists one, two or all of these then walk away and don’t return when people ask which method, so I can’t answer that here, not yet, to be ‘safe’ I usually go with both.

As each router/modem is different, I can’t give you any clear instructions on what to do other than hop on over to www.portforwarding.com and looking up their guides, or their automated tool. If you want some serious documentation, they’ve got it in spades, including screenshots.

Once you have those ports forwarded, you need your IP, I generally use www.ipchicken.com though there are plenty of other sites out there, such as www.whatsmyip.com and several others I don’t remember.

The most helpful guide I’ve found on hosting an unturned server is written in both Russian and English, making it difficult to follow, but otherwise provides a solid base of information to pick at if you’re not satisfied with my guide, which is fine, in fact, have a click here to see it, it even has screenshots, though they’re in Russian.

Anyhow, if anyone has any suggestions/comments, feel free. Feed back is important, and if I made a mistake, I want to silently rage at you as I fix it, I mean, I thank you in advance for pointing it out!

And here I thought this guide would be much longer. Who knows, I fully intend on expanding the knowledge base here, so any help doing that will be greatly aprpeciated.

In this guide ill show you how to create your own Unturned server for free on your local machine and (only if you want) how you can install rocketmod.

First you have to create a shortcut, right click Unturned.exe, then click create shortcut.

Now right click on the shortcut and click on properties

To let the server work propably you have to edit the Commands.dat (you can open it in a editor of your choice).

Perspective Both cheats

To made player able to join your server from all over the world you have to forward your ports.
First open the browser of your choice and type in 192.168.1.1 (this is by default the intern ip address of your router.
Now you have to login and navigate to the Port forwarding section.
Press Win+R and type cmd into the box, another consol should be shown.

note the IPv4 Address of your pc somewhere.

now create (in the router control) a new rule for

then save.
When you started the server again your friends should be able to join.

Инструкция как создать сервер в unturned в Windows

Сделать площадку в Windows для Унтурнед – дело нескольких минут. Достаточно следовать алгоритму:

После можно заняться конфигурацией. Нужно выйти из игры и вернуться в локальные файлы, потому что теперь там есть папка «Servers». В ней же будет другая папка, с заданным именем площадки.

Когда с заполнением файла будет окончено, необходимо сохранить его и снова запустить игру. Площадка должна открыться с обозначенными характеристиками. Он находится и в серверах Steam через:

Создать площадку для Unturned на Linux немного сложнее, чем на Windows. Для этого понадобятся:

Когда компоненты добавлены, можно переходить к следующему шагу – созданию аккаунта в Steam. Здесь для создания своей игровой площадки он нужен отдельный. После, всё также через sudo, можно создавать нового пользователя и папки steamcmd и unturned.

Примечание: Скачивается установщик SteamCMD Linux в архиве, который нужно распаковать в папку steamcmd. Запуск steamcmd.sh нужно разрешить, зайти под логином и паролем от новой учётной записи Steam. Остаётся только указать директорию для установки, установить туда Rocket for Unturned (linux).

Hosting a Dedicated Server

A Dedicated Server is a method of hosting an Unturned server that does not require the host to be an active player in the game. The host can choose to play on the server, or just leave it running in the background while others play on it. Unlike a Local Server, port forwarding is required. Servers are hosted with the Unturned Dedicated Server app.

A Dedicated Server also allows for vastly increased versatility in configuration of the server. Many server options become available through the Commands.dat, Config.json, server console, and other configuration files.

Windows Setup:

Shortcut Method (pre-3.20.12.2 only)

The deprecated shortcut method for creating servers only works for versions of the game prior to 3.20.12.2, which had been released on October 14, 2020. Newer versions of the game should only be hosted through the Unturned Dedicated Server app.

How to Host a Dedicated server on Unturned Version 3.0 Above

4. Finally, run the server. A black console screen should appear. 5. Optional: You can easily update an existing Unturned server by using the following method:

The following text string will create a shortcut that will automatically update your server. This example assumes that you installed your server through SteamCMD, which does not update Unturned automatically.

Classic Setup:

To finish, simply apply changes to the shortcut and double-click it to run it. The game should run and then immediately go to a gray screen. This screen means the server is running fine. If your screen doesn’t go gray and the server does not work, make sure you put the -sv option at the end of your options, otherwise the server may not work.

MacOS Setup:

With Unturned 3.0, the procedure is exactly the same, but after the parameters, you need to add: +secureserver/servername

Replace «secureserver» with «lanserver» if you want a LAN server instead. Replace «servername» with what you want to name your server.

Linux Setup:

Headless Guide

Note: This is mainly for computers without a GUI (graphical user interface), or if you only have access to the terminal/command line. If you use a VPS with only SSH/PuTTY access, go right ahead! If you are using a GUI, the above option might be better for you, however you might have some slight memory benefits using this method.

To update in Fedora, use

The «Add Architecture» is only needed once; to update your system, only the other two is required afterwards.

If on Fedora, you do not have access to dnf, try using yum instead.

If you only have an Intel Graphic Chipset, or you don’t know what graphics you have, use

For Ubuntu, type each individual line, then hit return. You should have typed in four statements.

If your Fedora/Redhat server throws an architecture error, try adding —setopt=protected_multilib=false to resolve the issue temporarily.

At this time, you will need a steam account. To avoid conflict, create a new dummy Steam account with Unturned added to its library.

There are a lot of things to say here, but I recommend creating a new user similar to the instructions in the old guide. Look at the «Running the Server» part, and ONLY do the first step (two commands).

Most of these steps are going to be the same for Ubuntu/Fedora/Debian/RHEL/CentOS, unless said.

First, let’s create some folders and download SteamCMD.

We need the RocketLauncher to start the server, so we will download it.

If you want RocketMod on your server as well:

You may now remove any excess files, other than start.sh, update.sh, unturned/, steamcmd/, or Steam/.

Now, using an editor of choice (Vi or Nano), open update.sh.

Here is where your Steam account that you created earlier is used. Put the username and password in there. If you want to keep your password private, keep the password string blank.

File installation

A short-term testing method is to use WinSCP or a similar SFTP software to transfer the entire Unturned folder over to the Linux server. The folder is likely located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\. The problem with this option is that you must update the server files with WinSCP every time an update is released.

A better option is to use SteamCMD, which is a light-weight Linux Steam client that downloads and updates the required Unturned files.

Running the server

Configuring your Server:

Use the Commands file if you want to run list of commands that will run each time the server starts. Use a separate line for each command.

Command Line Options

These parameters are used in launching the server from a command line interface. The order of inputted commands do not matter.

Config.json file

The Config.json file offers a lot of control over the actual server gameplay. It is located in:

It can be edited in the same manner as the commands.dat file. It is in JavaScript Object Notation format, meaning that it is a simple list that connects one string to a variable. In more simple terms, you should only edit text that is within «quotation marks» and after a : colon. Any value that is before the colon is specific to the game and it WILL break your server if you change it.

Connecting:

You should now be able to connect to your own server by running the game through Steam. To do this, click «Play», and then «Connect», and in the IP field, type «localhost», then click «Connect» to join your own server.

If you fail to connect to your own server, try installing SteamVR (found under tools in Steam).

Note: Other players will not use «localhost», only you will. Other players will use your EXTERNAL IP to connect to your server. Find your external IP by visiting a site such as WhatIsMyIP.

Firewall

If you have correctly set up your server and can’t even connect to it, you might want to check if your firewall is blocking the port. On Windows, it shouldn’t be that hard; open Control Panel, Security, and click «Allow a Program». Here, you can choose the Unturned application, and voila!

For MacOS, open System Preferences. Go to Security and Privacy, Firewall, then unlock the settings via the padlock at the bottom left of the window. Next, go to Firewall Options, scroll down the list, click on Unturned, and on the right of it, make sure it says «Allow incoming connections». If not, click on it, and choose that option. Close the window, making sure to apply settings, padlock the settings, and you’re done!

For both, if you selected a different port via the start command or Commands.dat, change the first number to the port you selected, and the second port two ports ahead (ex. 27040-27042).

Port Forwarding:

NOTE: Port Forwarding has to be done carefully. Nobody will be able to connect to your server if you do this incorrectly.

In order for anyone to access the server you’ve set up, you need to go into your router’s settings and open the server’s set ports.

You will need the following information which can be retrieved from your router (usually a sticker on the side):

If you are unable to locate these things, try checking https://portforward.com/router.htm to see specific instructions for your router.

Alternatively, you can put your hosting system into the DMZ. This opens all ports and is an option if for some reason normal port-forwarding fails. Putting your system into the DMZ opens up numerous security vulnerabilities and should only be used as a last resort!
